Beyond the protected courtyard entrance, the well-kept marble staircase and the 4 apartments are accessed through a second secure door.

The ground floor offers a completely renovated holiday apartment with accommodations for up to 6, decorated in the BAUHAUS architecture design style typical of the 1920’s. A real luxury vacation rental–replete with style and grace–right in the heart of Gera.

There is ample space to work, relax or enjoy time with family and friends. The 3 room holiday home offers 65 square meters divided into:

  • a spacious living room – featuring a large 52 inch Philips Ambilight flat screen TV
  • master bedroom with a modern queen-size box spring bed
  • second bedroom with office space and bunk-beds that sleep 4
  • Full bathroom with shower, washer and dryer
  • Full kitchen with a small dining area and private access to the garden.

High-speed Internet is provided thought the entire apartment and even in the garden area, free of charge.

The full-size washing machine and dryer in the bathroom includes detergent should any laundry need to be done.  Laundry can also be hung up to dry in the fresh Thuringia air using the close line installed in the garden.

The central location: Gera-Debschwitz district, southwest of the city center, right in the middle of it all. Plenty of parking with shops and grocery stores just around the corner.

The historic city center is only a few minutes away by tram. The tram station is only a minutes walk from the front door.

In the afternoon, enjoy a sundowner on the Untermhäuser Bridge, an excursion to Schloss Osterstein, or a walk through the Hofwiesenpark to the Orangerie, all this will enchant you. In the evening you can enjoy the rich cultural offerings of the famous Gera Theater.

Nearby: In the east, the Weiße Elster lies on the banks of which you can take scenic walks and bike rides. Three minutes walk to the west is the entrance to the Gera city forest.

The popular Gera Zoo is waiting for you to the northwest, alongside the climbing park or the magnificent dahlia garden, which enchants in summer with its spectacular varieties of dahlias.

On the western edge of the district, the 30 m high Fox Tower, built in 1901, rises on the Fuchsberg above the valley floor. From here you have a wonderful overview of your home-away-from-home.
